A Walk through the Heritage of Hucknall
Hucknall is a town rich in heritage. The Hucknall Tourism and Regeneration Group is only too proud to be given the opportunity to show off the town's history. Whether you are a visitor, new to the town or an established resident you can experience a free tour.

Drive the Trail of Hucknall Heritage
Departing from the market place, the bus tours of Hucknall last around 2½ to 3 hours. During this time you will see many local places of historical interest. A few trips take the participants to the Bestwood Winding Engine House, where a tour of this unique property is led by enthuastic specialist volunteers. In 2013, we extended the range of our tours to include a full day version which has been called The 6 Churches Tour. We are, again, offering a FREE bus tour, but do ask each passenger to pay for lunch which is taken at Beauvale Priory in the popular cafeteria.. We have negotiated a charge of £5 per head for High Tea! New in 2014, is the D H Lawrence Tour to Eastwood and we are pleased to announce that we have negotiated a charge of £5 for a tour of his birthplace, a visit to Durban House Museum and we get tea/coffee biscuits.
Seats for these popular tours need to be booked in advance. Group bookings are welcome although a small refundable deposit will be required for groups of 5 or more. Those with disabilities are welcome, please mention at time of booking so arrangements can be made. Please call 0115 963 8566 to book seats.
Remember all tours start from Market Place Car Park and your seat must be booked in advance ,In the case of The 6 Churches Tour, the £5 lunch must be paid for in advance, and for the D H Lawrence Tour, the cost of £5 payable, in advance. for a tour of his birthplace, a visit to Durban House Museum and we get tea/coffee & Biscuits..
